A goal in each half was enough to ensure the Cranes stay top of Group J with two matches remaining.
Godfrey Walusimbi was the first on target before striker Geoffrey Massa wrapped up the win after the break.
The Cranes have ten points, four more than Angola who beat Kenya1-0 at home in Luanda on Sunday.

But Uganda's Scottish coach Bobby Williamson is refusing to take anything for granted as he tries to lead the Cranes to their first Nations Cup since 1978.
"I'm not counting any chickens," he told BBC Sport. "We know we've still got a bit to do, and the hard bit will be crossing the line."
"But I think the players have enough experience and have had enough disappointments in the past not to want to repeat that again.
"We're in a great position and everyone in the group would like to swap places with us."
Next up for the Cranes is a trip to Angola where a point will guarantee their place at next January's finals in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
"Angola away is going to be a tough game, because not many teams in Africa win away from home," Williamson explained.
"A point will see us through but we can't go there with that attitude.
"I hope we can go there and express ourselves and put Angola on the back foot."
The Cranes have already won on their travels, winning in Guinea Bissau in March while they came away with a point from a trip to neighbours Kenya last October.
Should Uganda fail to get the result they need in Angola in September, they have a final group match at home to Kenya, their fierce rivals, in October.
Kenya are third in the group with four points, one more than bottom side Guinea Bissau.
